SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Chenfeng Xiong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Villanova University. He holds an MA degree in Economics and a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Maryland. Dr. Xiong’s research is focused on big data methods, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and its applications in understanding and modeling human mobility, transportation safety, and health.

For 25 years Greg Jordan was President of Skycomp, a traffic data company that used aircraft for highway traffic performance monitoring and origin-destination capture for traffic model calibration. Today he helps the Maryland Transportation Institute and the CATT Lab design and build analytical tools to exploit newly-emerging sources of remotely-sense origin, destination and routing datasets.
