SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Mr. Schiffer is President and Founder of FuturePlan Consulting and Travel Demand Forecasting Practice Leader at Metro Analytics. He has 38 years of experience in transportation consulting, specializing in travel demand model validation, long-range transportation plans, and travel behavior analysis. His experience encompasses transportation planning studies in 28 states and commonwealths for a wide range of clients. For many years, Rob has also provided leadership and volunteer work for the Transportation Research Board, Institute of Transportation Engineers, and American Planning Association. Mr. Schiffer received his MS in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University in 1984 and his BA in Geography and Urban Studies from Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) in 1982.
