Ben Engel, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), ASAM e.V.
As CTO Ben Engel is responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of ASAM’s technical activities, its roadmap and alignment of ASAM’s standards to one another as well as with other organisations and activities. Prior to this Ben was a Global Technology Manager at ASAM responsible for the continued development of the OpenX Standards (OpenXOntology, OpenSCENARIO, OSI) to ensure their compatibility with the rapidly growing demand for standards for highly autonomous mobility. Ben has extensive experience with simulation and V&V in automotive.
