SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Charlie is a graduate of the University of Rochester, holding a BA in History with a concentration on transportation and trade, and minors in Geology and French. Since 2020, he’s worked as WTI’s Transportation Innovation Fellow in the NPS Alternative Transportation Program in Washington. Formerly deployed to monitor the Automated Shuttle pilots at Yellowstone NP and Wright Brothers Nat. Memorial, Charlie now lives in DC with his girlfriend and their cat. Previously, he interned at University of New Hampshire as a GIS tech and surveyor; worked at a Boy Scout camp in the White Mountains; and sold kayaks in Maine. In his free time, he bikes, draws, and paints, reads Wikipedia articles, drinks craft beer, and goes to places where other tourists don't.
