SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Mike Brown is an Institute Engineer for Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX, USA. He has been a leader in the development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems for twenty-five years. Mike is an active member of the standards community including IEEE, SAE, and ISO where he currently serves as the Convenor for the Communications Working Group for ISO TC204 – Intelligent Transportation Systems.
He also serves key industry organizations such as the OmniAir Consortium where he currently leads the Coordinating Council and is an active member of 5GAA. Mike leads several programs for SwRI in Intelligent Transportation Systems & Connected and Automated Vehicles for various federal, state, and local clients.
