SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Hugh Quinn is an accomplished engineer with 18+ years of industry experience. He has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management. He has a diverse background in manufacturing engineering, nanotechnology, aerospace, defense, and transit. A proven leader, Hugh has managed large projects across industries, leveraging his strong analytical skills and “future focused” vision. . Hugh joined the Asset Management team at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority in 2020, immediately following a 3-year consulting engagement for the MBTA. He has been leading the way, by overseeing the Trapeze EAM system implementation and setting direction with the development of asset management standards and policies. As the current deputy director of configuration engineering, Hugh is responsible for all EAM engineering services, data ingestion, system configuration, and standards development covering transit, commuter rail, ferry, and paratransit assets.
