SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Frank Broen is a national expert in communicating complex transportation issues for planning, systems implementation, multimodal operations, forecasting and trends and transportation data analytics. He served as the secretary of the TRB Visualization in Transportation Committee and the Communications Coordinator and webmaster of the TRB Access Management committee. He also is a member of the TRB Communication Coordinators Council, specifically helping with the Data and information Section.
Frank specializes in visualizing ideas and systems that move people and goods. He was PI for NCHRP 584 Visualization of Highway Performance Measures, recently published in 2022. He is a flexible team member that makes projects better – from graphics that communicate specific details to powerful presentations that inform change. Frank’s creative leadership transforms ideas into reality. His ideas influence TRB through his involvement as TRB Communications Coordinator for committees, Data Section, and Council.
Metro Analytics is a member of the R Team, a coalition of academic and practicing members who are working together to improve the resilience of communities. The R-Team members are focused on helping the community, government and private sector to answer these questions and help build the business case for:

When does each investment need to be made?
