SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Patel brings over 20 years of professional experience in business and engineering, specializing in best practice asset management, strategy, systems engineering, operations and maintenance, data and information management and analytics contributing toward ISO 55000:2014 compliance.
Within these disciplines, his expertise includes change and quality management, CAPEX and OPEX budgeting, program and performance management, process and standards development, and facilitation of highly effective cross-functional teams.
Mr. Patel currently serves as a member of TRB’s AJE030 committee on Transportation Asset Management, established the discipline of Asset Management at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) and led the Department of Asset Management for approximately a decade serving all modes and asset types, and became a nationally recognized leader in the field.
