Call For Full Papers and Abstracts

The Transportation Research Board is soliciting papers for the upcoming 7th International Accelerated Pavement Testing Conference. This conference will offer two levels of submission, covering any relevant topic related to accelerated pavement testing and facilities: full papers and abstracts.

Research and Practical Papers

Full papers generally covering new developments based on scientific studies, and papers documenting implementation, innovation, decision-support tools, case studies, and experiences that merit sharing.  Accepted manuscripts will be published in the Conference Proceeding and may be considered for TRR publication. Please see the Full Paper Guidelines for information on how to submit a full paper. Full Papers should be submitted by December 6, 2024 for consideration.

Presentation Abstracts

Presentation abstracts generally document/summarize implementation of new knowledge, case studies, work in progress, or experience. These activities are being included in the conference to provide opportunities for participants to share valuable ideas with the entire Roundabout and Geometric Design community, without having to prepare a full paper. Accepted submissions will also be published in the Conference Proceedings as presentations only. Authors of Presentation Abstracts will not be requested, or offered an opportunity, to submit a full paper based on the review of an abstract. All abstracts should be submitted by December 6, 2024, approximately 400 to 600 words, and should clearly convey the material that will be presented. Submitters will also be asked to indicate their preferred delivery format (poster or lectern); the final designation of the format will be at the discretion of the planning committee.

Additional Details

All paper and presentation abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed by a technical committee following the TRB review process. Authors of accepted papers and presentation abstracts will be invited to present their findings in podium, poster, panel, or workshop sessions at the Conference.
