Presenter bio: Emre Akmaz received his Bachelor of Science with the highest grade from Sakarya University as a civil engineer in 2014. He was employed as an engineer in Sakarya Municipality Infrastructure Department. He was awarded scholarship from the Republic of Turkey and started his Master of Science in Civil, Environmental, and Infrastructure (CEIE) from George Mason University in 2017. He successfully finished his Master of Science program in 2018. He started his Ph.D. program at the same university in 2019. His research topic is Stabilization With Geosynthetics Of Foundation Soils In Roadway Systems. He also works as a CEIE laboratory coordinator at George Mason University.
