Presenter bio: Dr. Bu Wang is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UW-Madison. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Ceramics Engineering from Alfred University. Prior to joining UW-Madison, he held an assistant project scientist appointment at UCLA where he studied cementitious materials and mineral carbonation. His current research includes concrete recycling, carbon capture and utilization, and novel cementitious materials.
