Presenter bio: Bonani Langan is an Associate Engineer at Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. (Wood) in Durham, NC. Wood is a global leader in project delivery, engineering and technical services, providing efficient, integrated solutions across the asset life cycle in multiple sectors. At Wood, Ms. Langan has managed several multi-phase environmental projects focusing on site assessment, corrective action planning and design for remediation systems at various facilities including manufacturing facilities, industrial sites and military installations with contamination concerns including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and emerging contaminants including perchlorate, hexavalent chromium and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Ms. Langan leads Wood’s PFAS Remediation Work Group and has been involved with PFAS site investigation and remediation technology evaluation for over five years. Ms. Langan specializes in corrective action planning and remedial alternatives implementation under regulatory programs including CERCLA, RCRA, voluntary clean up, and state-specific programs.
