Speaker Biography
Ximon Zhu founded Numobility after 14+ years working with public and private sector to advance their missions through innovative technology, infrastructure and services. Numobility's mission is to create a better world with safe, clean and convenient transportation that advances opportunities for all. He is the Co-Chair of the ITSA Emerging Technology Committee, where he brings deep experience leading ITS and mobility initiatives with USDOT and state / local agencies across the US. His achievements include helping transportation agencies win $10M+ in BIL grants including developing smart corridor networks that support automated vehicles, developing and deploying smart solutions including automated vehicles that have been adopted into an MPO’s Vision 2100, and reaching financial close ($1.5B RRIF loan) on the 1st private high-speed passenger rail in the US. Ximon is a regular speaker at marquee industry (ITSA, IBTTA) and media events (Reuters). He lives with his wife and son in Atlanta, where they enjoy family walks in the park.
