Biography
Judy L. Shanley, PhD is the National Director, Transportation & Mobility, and AVP, Education & Youth Transition at the national office of Easterseals. She directs several Federal projects funded by the FTA, FHWA, and NSF and conducts research, and provides technical assistance regarding transportation coordination, mobility management, and building a continuum of accessible mobility options. Judy is the current Easterseals Director of the National Center for Mobility Management. She has particular interest in career development for individuals with disabilities and has authored several publications in this area. Shanley is the former Secretary of the APTA Access Committee, and currently the Co-Chair of the, and the TRB Standing Committee on Accessible Transportation and Mobility (AME50). She earned her Ph.D. in Special Education from the University of Florida and an M.B.A. and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling, both from Syracuse University.
