Biography
Mr. Robbins is a results-driven professional with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. With over 19 years of experience at NCDOT, he currently serves as the Public Involvement, Community Studies, & Visualization Group Leader, overseeing public outreach efforts and the review and approval of key reports such as Community Impact Assessment and Indirect and Cumulative Effects, used in Environmental Documents and project permitting.
In addition to his impressive track record at NCDOT, Mr. Robbins is a respected member of the transportation industry. He is an active participant on the Transportation Research Board’s Committee (AJE40) on Public Engagement & Communications, where he contributes his expertise in engaging stakeholders and the public. He was also a core team member for FHWA’s Every Day Counts 5 and 6 Virtual Public Involvement Initiative, demonstrating his commitment to innovative approaches to public outreach.
Mr. Robbins' passion for public engagement and commitment to delivering high-quality work has earned him a reputation as a reliable leader in his field. He is dedicated to building lasting relationships with stakeholders and has a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
