Presenter: Meghna Khanna
Bio: Meghna Khanna is the Senior Director with the Mobility Corridors Department at LA Metro. She manages and oversees environmental and design of various Light Rail Transit Projects including West Santa Ana Branch, Green Line Extension to Torrance, Arts District/6th Street Station etc. As a previous member of the LA Metro's Women and Girl Governing Council, she is co-leading the Understanding How Women Travel Study and is also working on improving the Sexual Harassment Reporting and Bystander Campaign. Meghna was the Deputy Project Manager for Airport Metro Connector (96th Street/Aviation Station).
Previously, Meghna was a Senior Associate with Gruen Associates where she developed conceptual level plans for Bus Rapid Transit Projects, prepared concept design plans for transit-oriented and mixed-use developments including linkage concepts, and various land use and urban design evaluations. Meghna received her Master’s degree in Urban Planning for University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
