Unlike a couple decades ago, there is a baseline of knowledge and study around gender perspectives and behaviors when using transportation. Women have less access to transportation options while requiring a higher demand and need for using it. How can transportation planners and decision-makers use this knowledge and data to influence better mobility planning standard, procedures, and methodologies?
