Bio: Rebecca Kalauskas, Katie Matchett and Sirinya Matute met while studying urban planning at the University of California, Los Angeles. Now they're working moms raising young children (5 among them, between ages 1 and 8) in Southern California and advocates for stroller-friendly sidewalks and equitable access to transit.

Katie Matchett is the Senior Associate at CityPlace Planning, a land use consultancy which help cities across Southern California create quality urban environments. Matchett is also the editor of the Where the Sidewalk Starts, a blog specializing in pedestrian issues. She holds an MA in Urban Planning from UCLA and a BA from the University of San Diego.
