Presenter: Gonçal Cerdà Beneito
Bio: Born in 1993 in Alacant (Spain), Gonçal Cerdà-Beneito is a PhD student in the French research unit "City Mobility Transport" (LVMT, Paris Est University).
His work focus on daily mobility, gender inequalities, transportation and urban space influence. In his ongoing PhD research, he analyzes parents' travel patterns to understand the role of daily mobility and place of residence in gender gaps. He compares single parents with those living with a partner, in the Paris Region. He combines quantitative (data of household travel survey) and qualitative (semi-directive interviews) methods.
He previously studied a Geography degree at Universitat d'Alacant (Spain), and an Urban Planning and Studies Master at the Paris School of Urban Planning (France).
