Presenter: Ashley (Wan-Tzu) Lo
Bio: Dr. Ashley (Wan-Tzu) Lo is a research fellow of Graduate School of Information Sciences at Tohoku University in Japan. She holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Science from University of California, Irvine. Her research focuses on how urban and transportation planning can help promote more sustainable living environments along environmental, social, and equity dimensions. Her research program incorporates the domains of (1) urban planning policy, with an emphasis on sustainability development strategy, (2) activity and travel behaviors, and (3) gender equality. She is currently working on how improved childcare and transport services could influence welfare and the use of time for married couples in Japan.
