Mr. Sturrock has twenty-eight years of experience in transportation engineering.
He currently is a Traffic Engineer with the Federal Highway Administration’s Resource Center Operations Team. Mr. Sturrock was a Key Content Reviewer for the Transportation Systems Simulation Manual, Traffic Analysis Tools Volume III 2019 Update, Scoping and Conducting a 21st Century Data Driven Analysis, Traffic Analysis Tools Volume XIV: Guidebook on the Utilization of Dynamic Traffic Assignment in Modeling, and additional documents.
Prior to joining FHWA, he worked for Illinois Department of Transportation, and consultant firms in the Chicago metro area.
Mr. Sturrock is a Member of the Standing Committee for Traffic Simulation, Highway Capacity Quality of Service and the Committee on Traffic Flow Theory and Characteristics. Mr. Sturrock has Bachelor’s in Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
