About the Conference
The TRB Conference on Smart Transportation: Data, Automation, and Intelligence will be held June 7 – 9, 2027 in Pittsburgh, PA. The conference will bring together researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, and public agency staff to discuss how data, automation, AI, connected technologies, and digital infrastructure are changing transportation and what research questions those changes raise.
Through plenary sessions, technical presentations, posters, workshops, and technical tours, participants will share research findings and real-world experience, discuss what is working, where challenges remain, and what research is needed next.
Presentations will focus on the following topic areas:
