Call for Presentations: Smart Transportation Systems - Data, Automation, and Intelligence
Researchers, representatives of transportation agencies, consultants, industry, and other transportation professional can submit a presentation proposal for the TRB Conference on Smart Transportation: Data, Automation, and Intelligence to be held June 7-9, 2027 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Advances in AI, connected technologies, digital infrastructure, and data systems are transforming transportation. Putting those advances into practice requires infrastructure, operations, organizations, data, and policy to evolve together.
This conference brings together researchers, practitioners, transportation agencies, technology providers, consultants, industry, and policymakers to share lessons learned, discuss unresolved challenges, identify future research needs, and explore where research and practice can go next.
Your submission will:
- share implementation experience and lessons learned
- present original research or innovative methods
- identify unresolved challenges and future research needs
- describe practical approaches that other agencies and organizations can apply
The strongest submissions will not only describe what was done, but also explain what was learned, what challenges remain, and what research should come next.
Accepted presentations may be assigned to podium or poster sessions.
