Speaker Biography
Mr. Wilson has over 25 years of domestic and international environmental management experience related to compliance, due diligence, site investigation, remediation, and industrial hygiene. During his 22 years with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), he has held various positions including: Regional Hazardous Material Manager, Central Office Hazardous Materials Compliance Manager and currently serves as an Environmental Program Manager overseeing the Facility and Project Environmental Compliance Evaluations, Hazardous Materials, Compliance Training, and Industrial Hygiene Programs. He is a member of the Transportation Research Board Resource Conservation and Recovery Committee and the VDOT Environmental Research Advisory Committee. His education is in Applied Science (B.S.) and Environmental Science (M.S.).
