Session Description
In this session, we’ll explore how three organization - The City of Richmond, Virginia, the Burlington-Graham Metropolitan Planning Organization, and The District Department of Transportation - are integrating equity principles into the core of their transportation safety initiatives. They achieve this through the use of data analysis and visualization, public involvement, and project prioritization and implementation. Through insightful case studies and practical examples, they will introduce innovative approaches to identifying and implementing equitable safety interventions. By highlighting collaborative efforts and the role organizational programs, attendees will gain invaluable insights into creating inclusive and effective safety solutions.
